Chemical peels use chemical solutions to improve and smooth the texture of your skin by removing damaged outer layers. Excellent results can be achieved to improve acne/acne scarring, lighten hyperpigmentation and age spots, and even soften and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
We use a combination of the most innovative, results-oriented, scientifically advanced skin care products and treatments. Some of the solutions used include trichloroacetic acid (TCA), alphahydroxy acids (AHA’s), and modified Jessners.
Depending on the peel performed, some down time may be involved, typically ranging from three to seven days. Results depend on the individual. We normally recommend two to six treatments, spaced approximately two to four weeks apart.
Some chemical peels may be done in conjunction with a facial or as an individual treatment.
